The Nicklaus-design, El Manglar Golf Course fuses pearly white sand traps and natural stone surrounding its two lakes, creating vibrant shades of green. This golf course is truly a delight for golf enthusiasts on the Mayan Riviera. As part of the extraordinary natural panorama, the lakes and natural vegetation on the Mayan jungle surround all 18 holes as obstacles to overcome.

Hole 17, christened “Donna-Green” is surrounded by a lake, two sand traps on each side and yet one more in the center of the green.

An excellent hole to get started! Relatively short, one must beware of the back-end trap hidden behind the green.
TIP: Easy to reach with a short iron.

This particular hole features deep traps protecting the front and right hand side of the green. The shot becomes more difficult due to the great mound surrounding the back end of the green.
TIP: Placing the ball on the left side of the green makes it an easy par.

This is the first hole with a water hazard. Its long, sloping green can lead to perform the first 3 putts of the day.
TIP: The goal is to enter the green from the left side.

A short but rewarding hole. This sloe on the back-end of the green makes the ball roll towards the pond that protects the left side of the hole.
TIP: Wind plays a factor from left to right.

A true challenge filled with obstacles: an enormous lake to the right, a spectacular scenery to the left, and a very difficult green.

Another difficult hole; it requires a very precise shot to reach the green. Three traps and a very large waste all await any missed move.

This is the shortest hole of the course, but not necessarily the easiest. Its small and elevated green makes it a real challenge.

This hole can be played within any point from 250 to 300 yards, depending on the wing. The Par becomes more difficult due to the green’s uncommon design.

Surrounded by water, this hole requires greater concentration, as it is the most difficult on the course. It requires a long shot struck with high force in order to travel across the large lake.
